In our community, we often discuss the need to step into brave spaces and conversations. The women in the story of Moses’ birth show us how to do this in the face of unthinkable challenges. Though there were risks, these women acted with boldness and bravery as they trusted God and showed compassion for vulnerable people and their children, including Moses. They show us that we have the ability to take risks and that we can be ready to face and endure danger or pain. They teach us that together, we can show courage.
